TOEFL-MUIC (ITP TOEFL) is an English admission test for the international program at Mahidol University.
The Planner’s TOEFL-MUIC course focuses on only the exam contents. Our course is to prepare students who want to continue their education at Mahidol University International College. With our help and student’s effort, students will be able to execute the exam questions without any problem.
The Planner’s teachers have developed a course study for TOEFL-MUIC. Our course covers every part of the exam so students will be well prepared for the exam.
The TOEFL-MUIC course at The Planer is a short 60-hour course. Due to a short amount of time, every session will heavily cover the exam contents.
Every part of TOEFL-MUIC will be focusing on “how to give the right answer” for every question. Our teachers are experienced and will be able to help students with techniques answering each part of the exam.
Our teachers’ answering techniques will cover from identifying the question, so students are able to give the right answer, and they will know how to give an answer that maximizes the score. Many students overlook how important it is to give an answer that scores them a full point. These techniques include the choice of vocabulary students use, time spent on each Reading and Listening question and how to interview that will amaze examiners.

Listening Comprehension: Divided into 3 parts.
- Part A: A short general daily conversation such as a conversation at a restaurant or at a train station. (30 questions).
- Part B: A long conversation between 2 people. The topics may be various, e.g. a class lecture at a university. (8 questions).
- Part C: A lecture from 3 professors at a university. (12 questions). *40 questions, 35 minutes.
Structure and Written Expression: Sentence structure and grammar.
- Sentence Completion – Choose the best word or phrase to complete the sentence. (15 questions).
- Identifying Error – Find improper grammar in a sentence. (25 questions). *40 questions, 25 minutes.
Academic Essay: Write 1 essay from one of the three questions at least 250 words.
Mathematics (Placement Test) – MUIC
Mathematics (Placement Test) – MUIC is a Mathematics admission test for the international program at Mahidol University.
Mahidol University International College will test all applicants in mathematics with an exception of the applications for the following majors – Communication Design, Media and Communication, International Relations and Global Affairs.
Mahidol University (International College) requires a placement test for mathematics. The applicants must achieve the test score required by the university to be qualified for IC or PC.
Mathematics (Placement Test) – MUIC is required if the applicant is unable to provide any other Math placement test such as SAT or ACT.

The MUIC exam requires English proficiency to a certain degree for both TOEFL-MUIC and Mathematics. Students need to be able to identify problems and solve each question quickly and correctly to maximize the score point.
Mathematics (Placement Test) – MUIC course at The Planner is designed by our tutors to only focus on questions that normally appear on the exam. Our course will cover all important exam contents so students can get familiar with the questions.
While our Mathematics (Placement Test) – MUIC course is suitable for everyone, it is best for students who are taking (or already took) 9th grade (US) or year 10 (UK) Math.

MUIC – Fast Track Course
Mahidol University International College (MUIC) is the first university in Thailand to offer an international program. It is one of the well known public university international colleges that offer up to 17 undergraduate programs and 2 graduate programs. The Planner MUIC – Fast Track course will focus on practicing exam questions. The 30-hour course is split into two parts, 10 hours of Math and 20 hours of English. Our MUIC course will be lectured by an expert-tutor with experience in the MUIC entrance exam. The Planner’s tutoring session will focus on identifying the main point of the questions for every subject and how to give the best answer for a maximum score.

What to expect from the MUIC exam?
The MUIC exam consists of 3 subjects which are:
- ITP TOEFL
- Writing
- Mathematics
Note that any students applying for Communication Design, Intercultural Studies and Languages and International Relations and Global Affairs majors are not required to take a math placement test.
All candidates are required to take the Writing test which divided into 2 groups
- Candidates who passed the MUIC test will be qualified for an interview.
- Candidates who did not pass the MUIC will also be qualified for an interview but required to take a Pre-College (PC) program to get themselves ready for college.
