CU-AAT or Chulalongkorn University Academic Aptitude Test is an admission test for international English programs at Chulalongkorn University.
CU-ATS or Chulalongkorn University Aptitude Test for Science is also an admission test for the international English program of the Faculty of Engineering at Chulalongkorn University.
The Planner’s CU-AAT course is a 80-hour course that includes 40 hours of Math and 40 hours of Verbal.
The Planner’s CU-ATS course is a 60-hour course that includes 30 hours of Physics and 30 hours of Chemistry.
CU-AAT and CU-ATS will be taught by a tutor with experience and expertise in each individual subject including all the contents similar to the exam. Students will learn to critically analyze the questions and learn how to answer questions without losing points or the least points possible from the exam. What is CU-AAT?
CU-AAT (Chulalongkorn University Academic Aptitude Test) is an admission test for international English programs at Chulalongkorn University. It is also qualified for other universities as well. CU-AAT format is very similar to SAT which is separated into 2 parts:
- Math Section – 55 questions, 70 minutes
- Arithmetic
- Algebra
- Geometry
- Problem solving
- Verbal Section (Reading & Writing) – 55 questions, 70 minutes, divided into 2 subsections:
Section 1: Critical Reading Section
- Sentence Completions
- Passage-based Reading
Section 2: The Writing Section
- Improving Sentences
- Identifying Sentence Errors
- Improving Paragraphs
Additional Information on CU-AAT
- Total score 1,600 points and valid for 2 years (from the exam date).
- A calculator will be provided by CU but dictionary is not allowed.
- Score results will be posted online 2 weeks after the exam.
- Admission fee is 1,300 Baht.
