The Planner is one of the leading GED tutoring institutions here in Thailand. Over 2,000 of our students have successfully achieved their desired exam score. Many students and parents have endorsed our GED course to be of high quality and reliable. Our students are our pride and we, The Planner Education, are committing to provide the education for any students who are willing to learn.
The GED courses at The Planner will not be covering every content like the regular study program which is too broad. Our courses (all 4 subjects) focus on the contents and the topics of the exam. Therefore, our students become familiar with the exam and are able to get the passing score or the score they desire. Importantly, students will be studying based on the actual exam question. In addition to an already excellent program, The Planner also offers a guarantee to any GED students in a full course program who are unable to get a passing test score, students are welcomed back to join our GED group course for FREE.
Do you feel like your English skill is not ready for GED? Or struggle with the word “invertebrates and vertebrates” in Science? The Planner also offers 45 hours of a Pre-GED course for any students who wish to prepare themselves for a full GED course. Not only will students be learning and improving their English skills for each subject, but students will also get familiar with the GED exam format as well.

Additional Information before taking a GED exam
GED (General Educational Development) is an exam of 4 subjects which, when passed, provide a certification. It is an alternative to the American high school diploma. The Thai Ministry of Education also recognized the GED Certification to be equivalent to a Thai high school diploma as well. Students are able to apply to any Thai Public University International program or any Thai Private University International program with the GED Certification. Students can also apply for Universities to study abroad as well.
According to the GED regulation and policy, students must be at least 16 years of age to be qualified for the GED exam. The 4 GED subjects (2017-present) are as follows:
1. Reasoning through Language Arts; Reading & Writing
2. Social Studies
3. Science
4. Mathematical Reasoning
The GED tests consist of 800 total scores, 200 of each subject. Candidates must achieve at least 145 score in each subject (580 for four subjects). After students have achieved the passing score for all the subjects, they are eligible to issue a certificate and a transcript.
GED Grading Scales
- Below Passing: 100-144
- GED® Passing Score: 145-164
- GED® College Ready: 165-174
- GED® College Ready + Credit: 175-200
**Any student achieves a score of 175 or more in each subject, they are eligible for a university credit transfer of that subject. This, however, depends on the university’s consideration.
The GED course study at The Planner is different from other institutes. The program we offer will follow the course syllabus that was carefully organized by our teachers. The course study will not cover the wide range of the subject contents but rather focus only on the exam contents, questions and exam formats. Our students will have a very high chance of getting a passing score or the score they desire.
